RALPH HEYWARD ISHAM
Managing Director
Ralph H. Isham is founder and Managing Director of GH Venture Partners
LLC ("GHVP"). Since 1990, Mr. Isham has directed GHVP’s private
investments as principal and agent in numerous emerging growth
companies in the field of telecommunications, transportation
technologies, and health care services.
Before joining GHVP, Mr. Isham worked as a consultant to corporate
management with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and with Strategic
Planning Associates (Mercer Consulting acquiree). His
responsibilities included development of long-range business strategies
for domestic and international markets of Fortune 100 companies.
In addition, Mr. Isham worked at the American Stock Exchange as a
Director under Mr. Arthur Leavitt, the former Chairman of the American
Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Isham was formerly a Fellow with the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations
Committee during the SALT II treaty hearings. He also served on
the staff of Congressman James W. Symington of St. Louis, Missouri and
Senator Edward Brooke of Massachusetts.
Mr. Isham graduated from Yale University with a BA Degree in
International Relations in 1979 and earned an MBA at Harvard Business
School in 1983. In addition to his corporate directorships, Mr. Isham
is the co-founder of the Vienna-based International NeuroTrauma
Research Organization, a leading medical organization devoted to
conducting research and improving the care of patients with traumatic
neurological injuries. Mr. Isham also serves on the Yale
Development Board and the Yale University President’s Council for
International Activities, as well as the President's Council of the
Peconic Land Trust of Southampton, NY.
In addition, Mr. Isham is a trustee of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR), headquartered in London.
ARNOLD P.
KLING
Managing Director
Arnold P. Kling serves as a Managing Director.
Previously, Mr. Kling was the President of Adelphia Holdings, LLC., a
private merchant banking firm, where he helped implement the investment
activities for its partners, as well as advising clients with respect
to capital expansion, strategic alliances and mergers.
Prior to joining Adelphia Holdings, from 1995 to 1999, Mr. Kling was a
Managing Director and General Counsel of GHVP. From 1993 through 1995,
Mr. Kling was a senior executive and General Counsel of a NASDAQ-listed licensing and multimedia company
where he was responsible for coordinating all of the Company’s
business and legal affairs. From 1990 through 1993, Mr. Kling was an
associate and partner in the corporate and financial services
department of Tannenbaum, Helpern, Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP, a
mid-size New York law firm. At Tannenbaum, Helpern, Mr. Kling had a
diversified corporate practice where he specialized in private and
public capital formation for both domestic and foreign companies as
well as investment companies and funds, corporate acquisitions and
divestures.
Mr. Kling also advised numerous public and private boards in the
entertainment, communications, and financial services industries. Mr.
Kling received his BS degree, cum laude, from New York University in
International Business in 1980 and his JD degree from Benjamin Cardozo School
of Law in 1983.
NOEL C.
RIMALOVSKI
Managing Director
Noel Rimalovski brings a deep background in M&A and
private equity management to GHVP, and is involved in research, due
diligence, financial structuring and the ongoing operations of
companies.
Mr. Rimalovski was Senior Vice President at Macquarie Capital (USA),
2007-08, in the Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment and Technology
Group. While at Macquarie, he completed $1.8bn of investments in the
telecommunications sector. Prior to Macquarie, he was Director in the
Mergers & Acquisition Group of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and
its predecessor Wasserstein Perella, where he completed transactions in
the Media, Telecommunications, Technology and Consumer sectors.
Prior to WP, he gained entrepreneurial experience as a banker on
structured financings, securitizations and proprietary investments at
Millennium Capital Markets and Lazard Frères.
Mr. Rimalovski earned his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, where he made the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. He holds a
BA, Quantitative Economics, from Tufts University.
