Cirrus Design Cirrus Design was founded in 1984 with a dream to design and build affordable airplanes that deliver greater control, more comfort and added levels of safety. Today, Cirrus is the world's second largest manufacturer of single-engine, piston-powered aircraft. Cirrus’ SR22 is the fastest selling single engine aircraft in the world. It is all composite and is the first aircraft with a whole plane parachute (Ballistic Recovery System (BRS)) which when launched avoids catastrophic crashes. The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) reported that in 2004 Cirrus delivered 553 units in total, and in the first two quarters of 2005, 295 units were delivered. The SR22 is the world's best selling plane in its class. In 2001, GH was an original partner in Aeroglobal Capital Management which invested in Cirrus Design. The largest investor in Cirrus is Arcapita.
France Citévision France Citévision (FCV) was founded in 1999 as an advanced cable operation in Amiens, France (pp.350,000). Today FCV is a triple play communications provider, offering packages in Telephony, Digital Television, and High-Speed Internet. FCV also provides enterprise data services, advanced video applications, and distance learning to corporations, schools, hospitals and municipal agencies in the Amiens area. In 2004 FCV became the first and only cable operator offering IP telephony, allowing the company to meet any residential or commercial need for broadband services. France Citévision intends to grow through new system construction, as well as the acquisition of franchise systems, which will secure access to hundreds of thousands more homes in France.
